Our Opticians
Opticians are licensed experts in the fitting of eyeglasses. Their training includes either a two-year college degree program or an extended apprenticeship.

James Piegdon, Optical Director
Mr. Piegdon is a native of Syracuse. He is a licensed optician who has worked extensively in the Elmira area, as well as in Colorado. He has been with Twin Tiers Eye Care since 1996, and serves as the department director.

Lissa Chapdelaine, Optician
Ms. Chapdelaine is a licensed optician who has worked in New York and Pennsylvania with Twin Tiers Eye Care since 2007, and works primarily in the Elmira office.

Erica Terwilliger, Optician
Ms. Terwilliger is a licensed optician who has worked in Corning for several years. She has been with Twin Tiers Eye Care since 2000, and works primarily in the Corning office.

Deborah Cox, Optician
Ms. Cox is a licensed optician who has worked in Corning for several years. She has been with Twin Tiers Eye Care since 2006, and works primarily in the Corning office.

Sylvia Crane, Optician
Ms. Crane is a licensed optician who has worked in Watkins Glen for several years. She has been with Twin Tiers Eye Care since 1996, and works primarily in the Watkins Glen office.

Mari Jamison, Optician
Ms. Jamison is a licensed optician who has worked in Bath for several years. She has been with Twin Tiers Eye Care since 1996, and works primarily in the newly renovated Bath office.

Christina Pearson, Optician
Ms. Pearson is a licensed optician who has worked in New York State for several years. She has been with Twin Tiers Eye Care since 2013, and works primarily in the Binghamton office.

Cathy Jewett, Optician
Mrs. Jewett is a licensed optician. She has been with Twin Tiers Eye Care since early 2020 and has lived in the Southern Tier for many years. Mrs. Jewett works primarily in the Endicott office.
Karen Opeka, Optician
Mrs. Opeka is a licensed optician. She has been with Twin Tiers Eye Care since early 2020 and is from the Johnson City area. Mrs. Opkea works primarily in the Binghamton office.
